Humanoid Robots Demonstrate Language and Physical Skills at Hong Kong Exhibitions

Such developments aim to enhance decision-making assistance and task completion for humans. At one booth, humanoid robots with female features and soft synthetic faces greeted visitors, resembling women from a distance. These robots are used in museums and government venues in mainland China for tasks like leading guests to facilities or providing tours.

A company reported selling more than 400 such robots. A visitor from Malaysia described the robots' appearances and movements as beautiful but not conveying a real feeling.
