Aaron Judge's stress fracture in his right ribs has not completely healed, and the New York Yankees captain has not been cleared to resume baseball activities, ESPN reported on July 17, 2026. Judge last played on May 31. A scan during the All-Star break showed partial healing.
He said he is waiting to hear from doctors on a plan moving forward. "I feel good about the fact that he will be back. It's just a matter of when," manager Aaron Boone said Friday before a series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
