Aces Take First Place After 100-97 Win Over Lynx

CBS SportsThe Las Vegas Aces defeated the Minnesota Lynx 100-97 on Saturday night on CBS. Chelsea Gray made two free throws with 3.5 seconds left to secure the win. The Aces ended the Lynx's eight-game winning streak and took first place in the WNBA standings. They also extended their own winning streak to six games.
The Aces became the first team in league history to score at least 100 points on 50 percent shooting or better in three consecutive games. Their offensive rating reached 113.4, the highest in the league. Chelsea Gray averaged 13.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.8 assists for the season. She is shooting 44.6 percent from three-point range.
The Liberty extended their winning streak to seven games.
Sabrina Ionescu returned from a back issue and came off the bench. The Wings lost their most recent game to the Fire. Paige Bueckers is day-to-day with an ankle issue. The Sparks won their third straight game behind Kelsey Plum's career-high 43 points.
