AFL clubs to wear black armbands after Melbourne teacher's death in football game

Every AFL club will wear black armbands at weekend matches after 27-year-old Nathan Fitzgerald died from a head injury sustained during an Australian rules football game in Melbourne. Fitzgerald, a teacher at Mernda Central College, was playing for the Epping football netball club when he fell during a tackle and hit his head on a covered cricket pitch in Lalor on Saturday.
