Large language model expertise led the list with nearly 57,000 active listings and average annual pay approaching $199,000. LLM fine-tuning averaged $208,000 but had roughly 7,200 openings. Agentic AI, focused on autonomous systems, showed nearly 42,000 postings at an average of $197,400.

AI product management averaged $195,000 with about 26,000 listings. Deep learning recorded the highest job volume at more than 67,000 listings and paid an average of $179,000, roughly three times the median starting salary for recent college graduates across all majors.
