The second game of the Tuscaloosa Super Regional between Alabama and LSU entered a lightning delay on Saturday afternoon. Play stopped in the bottom of the fourth inning while Alabama held a 4-1 lead. The NCAA suspends games when lightning is detected within a six-mile radius of the venue. Each new strike resets a 30-minute timer.

The governing body uses both a six-mile detection radius and a flash-to-bang measurement to determine when play can resume. Officials have not announced a revised start time.
