Amble has launched the Amble One, a lightweight electric vehicle aimed at luxury resorts and private estates. Consumer preorders opened in Europe and the United States with deliveries scheduled for 2028.
Ars TechnicaAmble introduced the Amble One, a street-legal electric buggy priced at $25,000 that targets short-range use at luxury properties. The vehicle offers more than 60 miles of range, a top speed of 40 mph, and a five-hour charge from a standard home outlet while weighing under 450 kilograms.
Adrien Roose, CEO and cofounder, said the weight limit supports L7e classification in Europe, which permits public-road use without full car regulations.
The open, doorless design contributes to meeting that target, according to Ars Technica. Julian Hoenig, design lead, previously worked at Audi on the RSQ, A4, R8, and Q3 models and later at Apple on the Watch, Vision Pro, and Project Titan. Michael Tropper cofounded the 120-person creative agency Forpeople.
José António Uva serves as chairman. Amble reported 12 signed clients, more than 500 vehicles committed in orders, and over 10 million euros in signed revenue. Properties including Amangiri in Utah, Mustique Island, Six Senses Les Bordes in the Loire Valley, and Na Praia in Comporta have placed orders.
Hospitality deliveries are scheduled to begin in mid-2027. Consumer deliveries in Europe and the United States start in 2028. A second platform targeting a 2029 release is already in design.
