An analysis of Indeed's Best Jobs 2026 report ranked ten roles using five metrics: median annual salary, share of job postings, three-year wage growth, three-year posting growth and share of remote postings. Healthcare accounts for eight of the ten positions. Cardiac Medical Tech ranked highest across the combined metrics.

Driver leads in median salary at $160,000 but shows a five-percent decline in advertised wages over three years and one percent remote postings. Nurse Practitioner follows at a median salary of $143,183 with ten-percent wage growth and ten percent remote postings.

Cardiac Medical Tech posted a median salary of $133,907, 34-percent wage growth and 34-percent posting growth. Licensed Clinical Social Worker recorded a median salary of $119,618, 20-percent wage growth and 32 percent remote postings. Radiation Therapist posted a median salary of $115,923 with 26-percent wage growth.

Data Scientist showed a median salary of $115,079 and 35 percent remote postings. Physical Therapist listed a median salary of $110,848. Speech Language Pathologist recorded a median salary of $109,431 with 14-percent wage growth.
