Andreeva to face Chwalinska in French Open women's final

Russia's Mirra Andreeva will face Poland's Maja Chwalinska in the women's final at the French Open on Saturday. Andreeva, seeded eighth, reached the final after defeating Marta Kostyuk in the semifinals. The 19-year-old has recorded 35 wins this year, the most on the WTA Tour.

Chwalinska advanced as a qualifier and defeated higher-ranked opponents to reach her first Grand Slam final. The left-hander is competing in only her third major main draw.

She won the Linz title this season and finished runner-up in Madrid. Chwalinska entered the tournament ranked outside the top 100. A victory would place her inside the top 15.
