citizen.co.zaAnker introduced the Solix S2000 power station, a 2kWh unit designed for home backup and portable use. The company states that the model addresses idle power draw and physical size, two common limitations of competing systems. The Solix S2000 draws about 6W when idle, according to Anker.
The company attributes the low draw to its OptiSave technology and a 1500W inverter. Anker says the unit can run for nearly two weeks before the battery is depleted if left in standby mode.
7 pounds. Its energy density is listed at 106Wh/L, which Anker says exceeds several competing 2kWh models. The unit includes three AC outlets on the front and two on the back, two 100W USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and a 400W solar input. The 1500W inverter can peak at 3000W for short periods.
Anker states that this capacity is sufficient for most household appliances, networking equipment, and small camper devices such as coffee makers and induction cooktops. A 2kWh battery can power a large refrigerator-freezer combination for more than one day during an outage.
The Solix S2000 is available for preorder at $579 until June 1, 2026. 99. European Union pricing and shipping dates have not yet been announced.
