U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The company, which operates the Claude chatbot and is headquartered in California, did not disclose the size or terms of the offering.

Anthropic announced Thursday that it had raised $65 billion in a funding round completed in late May. That round valued the company at $965 billion post-money, more than double the $380 billion valuation it carried after raising $30 billion in February.
