Anthropic Launches Reflect Feature for Claude Chatbot Usage Analysis

Anthropic announced a reflect feature for its Claude chatbot on July 9, 2026. The Verge reported that the tool, called a reflection dashboard in the company's blog post, lets users review an analysis of their usage data over the past month, three months, six months, or year.

The dashboard opens with a summary of key topics discussed with Claude, types of tasks delegated, and usage patterns such as peak times.

Users can set quiet hours or break reminders after specified periods of use. An analysis of total time spent using Claude will be added soon. " After a user responds, the dashboard offers the option to discuss the answer with Claude.

It also displays examples of interactions, including reworking email drafts in the user's own voice or delegating tasks only after setting strategy. The reflection dashboard does not access files from connected tools or platforms. It excludes chats in incognito mode and any conversation tied to a health integration tool.

Sensitive topics may appear only at a high level. The feature is in beta for free users as well as Pro and Max subscribers who have memory enabled. It is accessible through Settings on the web or the Claude desktop app.

Anthropic said the idea originated from interviews with Claude users, and the feature will reach Claude Cowork soon.
