Apple plans to release the public beta of iOS 27 around July 14, 2026, forbes.com reported. The update will be available to users who sign up at beta.apple.com and will run on the iPhone 11 and all newer models. The general release of iOS 27 is scheduled for September 2026 alongside the iPhone 18 Pro.
Forbes.com reported that Apple Intelligence features will be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and later devices. The second developer beta of iOS 27 has already shipped. The third developer beta is expected around July 7 or July 8, forbes.com reported, which would place the first public beta about one week later.
Past public betas followed a similar pattern. iOS 27 introduces a revamped Siri with AI capabilities that requires a waitlist.
