The rebuilt Siri will run on an external model and move to a standalone app with conversation history that syncs across devices. The presentation did not include a firm release date for the new Siri features. Officials committed only to a developer beta in the coming months.
Shares reached an intraday high of $317 during the event before closing at $301.54. The stock declined more than 3 percent in the following session.
Reports indicated that several hardware projects face delays.
An M5 Mac Studio refresh, a lower-cost iPad model, and smart glasses previously targeted for earlier release are now scheduled for late 2027 or later.
