Arsenal reached an agreement with Club Brugge to sign forward Christos Tzolis for a €40 million fee. The two clubs signed the transfer agreement, and Club Brugge authorized Tzolis to undergo a medical examination. The player had stated a preference for Arsenal and declined offers from other clubs.
