Athletes and Stars Appear at Fanatics Fest Events in New York

LeBron James, Jay-Z, Draymond Green and Rich Paul were spotted at the 40/40 Club on July 17. Jay-Z waved to fans after hearing chants of his nickname. Anthony Edwards appeared at Fanatics Fest the same day and said he cannot accept the face of the league title yet.

Edwards stated that LaMelo Ball had been at his house over the past couple of days and that the two had been working on their postgame interviews. He also said he and Karl-Anthony Towns spoke before every game in the NBA Finals and that he gave Towns tips on guarding the Spurs. Edwards listed nominees for White Boy of the Year and OG of the Year in his Believe That Awards.

Novak Djokovic appeared on The Shop at Fanatics Fest and discussed his loss to Jannik Sinner in the Wimbledon semifinal. He said he wants to kick the ass of the younger generation of tennis players. Folarin Balogun joined the same show and said Victoria Monet's On My Mama was the USMNT locker room anthem.

Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Aaron Judge held a live taping of the Roommates Show on July 16. Brunson and Hart agreed that Mitchell Robinson was the funniest player on their championship team, though Brunson called Hart the biggest clown. Hart described the Knicks locker room when the team trailed the Spurs by 29 points at halftime in Game 4.

MVP chants were heard for Brunson during the event. LeBron James and Tyrese Haliburton taped an episode of Mind the Game on July 16. James said the group does not have an announcement to make yet and teased that his decision would be somewhere sunny.

A young Knicks supporter pitched James to join the team, and a fan asked him to sign with the New York Yankees. Haliburton said James was 76 years old throughout the taping and made his own pitch for James to join the Indiana Pacers. James said a social media post claiming any team he joins would be in the play-in motivated him.
