Australia Beats West Indies by Six Wickets After West Indies All Out for 131 in T20 Warm-Up
Georgia Voll scored 77 not out as Australia chased 132 to defeat West Indies in Cardiff on Thursday. The win came after an earlier victory over England.
Australia defeated West Indies by six wickets in its final warm-up match before the Women's T20 World Cup in Cardiff on or before Thursday 11 June 2026. West Indies scored 131 runs and were bowled out. Australia reached the target at 4/132.
Georgia Voll scored 77 not out off 48 balls, hitting 10 fours and two sixes. Beth Mooney scored 34 off 18 balls before Australia retired her to give other batters practice. Seven of Australia's eight bowlers took at least one wicket.
Sophie Molineux took 1-19 from three overs. Ashleigh Gardner took 2-17 and Lucy Hamilton took 2-19. Sophie Molineux, the Australian captain, said after the match: "I felt like there were a few bits and pieces we wanted to tick off and we did today.
Australia had defeated England in a warm-up match earlier in the week. Australia opens its Women's T20 World Cup campaign against South Africa at Old Trafford on Saturday night AEST.
