Australia defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in the third T20I at Chattogram on Sunday, completing a 3-0 series sweep. Bangladesh scored 8-109 from its 20 overs. Australia reached 3-112 with 54 deliveries remaining.
Fast bowler Spencer Johnson returned figures of 2-6 from four overs, the most economical four-over spell by an Australian in men's T20I history. Nathan Ellis took 2-21 and Adam Zampa took 2-22. Towhid Hridoy remained not out on 61 for Bangladesh, with Rishad Hossain the next-highest scorer on 16.
Australia captain Mitch Marsh scored 60 from 28 balls and was named player of the match. Josh Inglis was dismissed for 17 and Cooper Connolly for 15. Tim David remained not out on 12 after hitting two sixes.
"The way we adapted to the conditions each and every game … I thought we were fantastic with the ball today," Marsh said after the match. Johnson had conceded 39 runs from two overs in the second match on Friday. The result followed Australia's 2-1 loss in the preceding ODI series.
The three-match T20I series concluded with clean-sweep victories on 17, 19 and 21 June 2026.
