Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro scuffle at Las Vegas practice court after social-media comments

Bam Adebayo punched Tyler Herro in the face during a physical altercation at a practice court in Las Vegas on Friday morning. The confrontation began when Adebayo approached Herro over comments the guard had posted on social media after his trade to the Milwaukee Bucks. Adebayo struck Herro as the pair left the court.

Herro’s AAU coach confronted Adebayo, and Herro yelled at his former teammate while security escorted him out. ” The Milwaukee Bucks had no comment. Herro later sat courtside at the Heat-Bucks summer league game Friday afternoon and spoke with Milwaukee personnel.

After the trade, Herro posted an Instagram Story graphic ranking players with the worst midrange field goal percentages. Giannis Antetokounmpo ranked first at 26.8 percent and Adebayo ranked tenth at 35.9 percent. Leaked direct messages also showed Herro criticizing Adebayo’s contract value, arguing a player should not earn $60 million for strong defense on some nights.

Adebayo plays on a three-year, $160 million contract with Miami and did not reach $60 million in the 2025-26 season. The two players spent seven seasons together before Herro was included in the package that sent Antetokounmpo to the Heat this summer. The Bucks received Herro, Jaime Jaquez, Kel’el Ware, Kasparas Jakučionis and multiple draft picks, including the 13th overall selection in 2026.

Herro, drafted by Miami in 2019, averaged 19.5 points, five rebounds and 4.1 assists over his seven seasons with the team.
