CANNES, France — The three-part Belgian docuseries titled ‘The Deal with Iran’ has become a buzz title at Canneseries, highlighting a Belgian-led investigation that thwarted a bomb plot against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran.
The series, cast as a spy thriller, is created by the Stuyck brothers, drawing on events where reality surpassed fiction, according to a Variety report dated April 23, 2026.
