Joe Burrow said the current Cincinnati Bengals roster produces the same feeling he had before leading LSU to the 2019 College Football Playoff national championship. "You go back and watch what I said before the 2019 season at LSU," Burrow said Wednesday. "I feel very similarly about this team.
I'm so excited to get started and get moving. " Burrow added that he sees substantial potential for the coming season. "I feel like there's so much greatness we'll be able to achieve this year that I'm just excited to get going," he said.
The Bengals concluded minicamp two days early, using Wednesday as a final team activity day at Paycor Stadium. Coach Zac Taylor dismissed the players for the summer after determining that all necessary parts of the playbook had been installed and that recent on-field work justified the early break.
Burrow stayed on the field for an extra hour after Tuesday's practice and conducted an extended throwing session on Wednesday.
Training camp is scheduled to begin in mid-July.
