Producers include Andrea Schütte, Dirk Decker, and Dario Suter. Co-producers are Katrin Jochimsen, Felix von Boehm, and Kai Stänicke. Funding support came from MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Nordmedia – Film and Media Company of Lower Saxony/Bremen, Hessen Film & Medien, the German Federal Film Fund (DFFF), and German Films.
co-president Jon Gerrans described the film as carefully structured with influences from Dogme 95 and classic cinema.
