Gabriel Ganley, a 22-year-old bodybuilding influencer known online as “Bebezinho,” was found collapsed on the kitchen floor of his Sao Paulo apartment on Saturday. A friend who had not heard from him since Thursday requested building staff to open the door.

The Sao Paulo Public Security Secretariat stated that no signs of violence were observed at the scene. The death was registered as “suspicious death – sudden death,” and a forensics investigation is underway.

Forensics teams collected several medications from the apartment, including possible anabolic steroids, according to the police report cited by NCS Total. No official cause of death has been released. Ganley’s mother said she last spoke with him on Thursday night and that he reported no health problems. She also stated he had no history of heart disease.

He was preparing to compete in July’s Musclecontest Brazil. Integral Medica, the protein supplement company that sponsored Ganley, issued a statement expressing sorrow over his death.
