Brewers Pitcher Misiorowski Shows Charizard Glove but Will Miss All-Star Start Due to Arm Fatigue

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski displayed a custom Pokémon-themed glove on Monday that features a holographic Charizard card embedded inside it. The glove, made by 44 Pro, uses red, yellow and orange accents matching the character's colors and includes Misiorowski's surname written in Pokémon font. This is not the first time Misiorowski has incorporated Pokémon cards into his gloves. In June he used one containing his own rookie card, and in April he unveiled a purple glove with a Japanese Gengar card. After a game last August he pulled a holographic Charizard card in the Brewers clubhouse, drawing a loud reaction from teammates.

Misiorowski's all-time favorite game is Pokémon SoulSilver for the Nintendo DS.
