Brewers place left-hander on injured list, designate right-hander for assignment

The Milwaukee Brewers placed left-hander DL Hall on the 15-day injured list with a left pectoral strain and designated right-hander Jake Woodford for assignment ahead of a six-game road trip. The team recalled two pitchers from Triple-A Nashville before Friday's game in Denver.
