Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett will report for Arizona's mandatory minicamp this week after skipping the team's entire offseason program while seeking a restructured contract. Brissett missed Phase 1, Phase 2 and all three organized team activities. The minicamp consists of practices on Tuesday and Wednesday in Tempe, Arizona.

Brissett was at risk of fines totaling $107,911 under the NFL collective bargaining agreement if he did not attend. A source told ESPN a new deal is unlikely before he reports. Brissett signed a two-year contract with the Cardinals in March 2025.

5 million is guaranteed. 14 million guaranteed for 2026. In May, the sides remained far apart on a new agreement, according to a source.

Brissett has been told he will be the Cardinals' presumed starter for the 2026 season. He started 12 games last year after replacing an injured Kyler Murray. From Week 6 onward in 2025, Brissett ranked first among NFL quarterbacks in dropbacks, play-actions, completions and attempts.

He finished second in passing yards and fourth in completion percentage above expected during that span. It remains uncertain how much on-field work Brissett will perform at minicamp, sources said.
