British Court Sentences Two Men for Arson Attacks on Starmer-Linked Properties

A British court sentenced Roman Lavrynovych and Stanislav Carpiuc to prison on Friday for conspiracy to damage property by fire. Lavrynovych, a 22-year-old Ukrainian national, received a seven-year term. Carpiuc, a 27-year-old Romanian citizen, received a two-year term.

The targets were a car and two properties linked to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The arson attacks occurred over three nights in May 2025. Lavrynovych was tasked with setting and filming the fires, while Carpiuc acted as a middleman to facilitate payment and recruit someone to film the incidents.

The attacks were ordered by a Russian-speaking figure using the name “El Money” via Telegram. El Money sent detailed instructions including locations of targets and how to mix flammable liquids from a hardware store. The identity of El Money was never revealed and the individual was not charged.
