Britney Spears Stands Through Sunroof of SUV on Los Angeles Freeway

Britney Spears was photographed standing through the sunroof of a black Mercedes SUV on the 101 Freeway near Studio City in Los Angeles on Thursday, nypost.com reported. The 44-year-old singer posted an Instagram photo on Sunday showing herself lying on the roof of her car with arms spread wide. In the post she wrote, “What people see is two seconds of insanity of me arching me to the lords !!!!!

Yet the days and hours of my reality !!!!!! ” On Friday Spears posted an Instagram video of herself dancing in a glittery pink minidress while sticking out her tongue. A source told the Daily Mail that she went through the sunroof for a quick moment to check traffic because the cars were stopped.

The source said she used to do this as a kid growing up in the South and loves having the warm wind blow through her hair in the summer. The same source stated that Spears is having a fun summer and is happy and in a good place. The source added that if it is illegal to put a head through a sunroof she does not know it and did not mean to do anything bad.

Spears was arrested for DUI in California in March. She was filmed driving erratically in October 2025. She voluntarily checked herself into rehab in April and exited after less than a month. Screenwriter Liz Meriwether was hired to write an early draft of a Britney Spears biopic, with Jon M. Chu attached as director and Marc Platt as producer, nypost.com reported.
