Broncos Receiver Marvin Mims Says He May Leave After 2026 While Praising Team and City
Marvin Mims told DNVR that the upcoming year may be his last in Denver before free agency. The second-round pick from 2023 has recorded 98 receptions and two special-teams touchdowns in three seasons.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims said the 2026 season could be his last with the team. Mims made the comments during an interview with DNVR's Zac Stevens. "With this possibly being my last year, I'm just going to enjoy it to the fullest, going through it carefree and just play my hardest because we have a real chance to do something extremely special," he said.
The Broncos selected Mims in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He has scored two touchdowns on special teams as a kick and punt returner and earned Pro Bowl nominations in 2023 and 2024 along with two All-Pro honors. "I think I've proved it time and time again just in different stretches, different opportunities.
I feel as if the coaching staff knows what they're going to get from me," Mims said. "I love making plays. I love being out there doing the things that I can do. " Through his first three NFL seasons Mims has caught 98 passes for 1,202 yards and eight touchdowns.
He added that he loves the city, fans, atmosphere, teammates and coaches. The Broncos reached the AFC Championship Game in the 2025 season. Quarterback Bo Nix is recovering from an ankle injury. Newsweek reported that greater offensive production could increase Mims' value ahead of free agency in 2027.
