Bruno Mars's 'I Just Might' Reaches No. 2 on Adult Contemporary Chart as Alex Warren's 'Ordinary' Holds No. 1

Forbes reported that Bruno Mars's "I Just Might" rose to No. 2 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart on July 19, 2026. The track reached the position in its 26th week on the ranking. Alex Warren's "Ordinary" held the No.

1 spot for a 37th week and now stands alone as the third-longest-running leader in the chart's history. The song broke a tie with Maroon 5's "Girls Like You," which spent 36 weeks at No. 1 beginning in 2018.

Miley Cyrus's "Flowers" leads the all-time list with 57 weeks, followed by Teddy Swims's "Lose Control" with 49 weeks. "I Just Might" matches the No. 2 peak of Mars's 2025 collaboration "Die With a Smile" with Lady Gaga.

Mars has reached No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart twice before, with "Just the Way You Are" holding the top spot for 20 weeks starting in February 2011 and "When I Was Your Man" leading for two weeks. The single stayed inside the top 10 on all three of Billboard's pop radio charts after 26 weeks.

It held at No. 2 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart and rose from No. 7 to No. 6 on the Pop Airplay chart.
