Chelsea Forward Nicolas Jackson to Return from Bayern Munich Loan

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson is scheduled to return from his loan at Bayern Munich this summer. The club intends to give new manager Xabi Alonso the chance to evaluate the 24-year-old striker ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. Jackson moved to Bayern Munich on a temporary basis last September. GB News reported that the transfer followed a strained relationship with then-manager Enzo Maresca.

Club sources told the Daily Mail that Jackson remains a valued asset. Several Premier League and overseas clubs have already inquired about his availability. The new manager will initially assess Jackson from a distance because the player will be on international duty at the World Cup, which begins June 11.

Sources indicated Jackson would prefer to stay at Chelsea if he receives sufficient playing time. Chelsea currently lists four strikers on its roster: Jackson, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Emmanuel Emegha. Alonso and the club's sporting leadership will decide Jackson's role after July 1, when Alonso officially takes charge.
