Chesterfield are in talks with veteran defender Kyle McFadzean about a new deal. The 39-year-old made 43 appearances for the club this season. Chesterfield finished sixth in League Two before losing to Notts County in the play-offs.

Eleven players will be leaving the Derbyshire side.

Defender Janoi Donacien, midfielder John Fleck and striker Paddy Madden are among those departing. Ashton Rinaldo, Jamie Grimes, Adam Lewis, Vontae Daley-Campbell, Bailey Hobson, Liam Jessop, Freddie Ladapo and Benjamin Hole have also been let go. Kyle McFadzean made his professional debut in September 2005.
