Darren Abbott, president and chief brand officer of Hallmark Media, said the Bears are the third NFL franchise to partner with Hallmark for a holiday special.
The Kansas City Chiefs appeared in "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story" in 2024, which included coach Andy Reid, Donna Kelce, Trey Smith and Mecole Hardman Jr. The Buffalo Bills were featured in "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story" in 2025, with appearances by Damar Hamlin, Dion Dawkins and Reid Ferguson.
Abbott noted the prior success of the first two films prompted the decision to continue the series with another NFL team.
