Each processor contains 304 cores running at 1.55 GHz, and the processors are linked by the LingQi high-speed, low-latency network. The system is the first supercomputer to exceed the 2,000 exaflop barrier. It is 20 percent faster than El Capitan on the TOP500 benchmark.
