Edwards, 32, married Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a ceremony at a 16th-century church in Estoi, Portugal. Approximately 70 guests attended the event, including former Little Mix members Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. Jesy Nelson, 34, did not attend the wedding.

Tensions between Nelson and the former Little Mix lineup have continued since her 2020 departure from the group. Edwards recently described Nelson as "difficult" on Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast and said she no longer had capacity for certain relationships. Nelson stated in her documentary series that she did not receive sufficient emotional support during her time in the band.
