A new trophy recognizing combined results from the men's and women's competitions in The Hundred will be introduced in summer 2026, The BBC reported. The two competitions have run alongside each other since the tournament began in 2021, with matches staged as double headers on the same day and at the same venue.

Results throughout the group stage, the eliminator, and the final will count toward the new trophy.

The existing men's and women's trophies will continue unchanged. The public can submit suggested names for the new silverware through The Hundred website. England all-rounder Will Jacks, who won three men's titles with Oval Invincibles, said the change aligns with the format's structure.

"I think it's brilliant," Jacks said. "If we look back over the past five years, the Invincibles would have had good success with that. " In 2025, Northern Superchargers would have won a combined trophy under the new system.

Their men's team lost in the eliminator while their women's team claimed the title. England batter Tammy Beaumont, who will play for Birmingham Phoenix in 2026 after previously representing Welsh Fire, welcomed the move. "That will be really fun," Beaumont said.

"We've always tried to create the 'one club, two teams' vibe and this will bring that even closer together. The fact the men and women play on the same day, in the same colours, the same teams is one of the unique selling points of The Hundred, trying to push that equality dial even closer.

" The Hundred is being revamped in 2026 following external investment of around £500m into the eight franchises.

Several teams have unveiled new kits and, in some cases, new names ahead of the season. Oval Invincibles are now known as MI London after investment from Mumbai Indians' owners and have switched from aqua to blue and gold. Northern Superchargers have been renamed Sunrisers Leeds and will play in orange rather than purple.

Southern Brave have changed from black and green to blue and red. Manchester Originals will compete as Manchester Super Giants in red and blue.
