Corey Heim took the checkered flag in the NASCAR Truck Series event at Michigan International Speedway. Heim finished 0.065 seconds ahead of teammate Kayden Honeycutt after using a draft from lapped traffic on the final lap.

Heim, the reigning series champion, started from the Tricon Garage entry and held off teammate Kayden Honeycutt by 0.065 seconds on the final lap. Heim credited assistance from the No. 11 and No. 62 trucks throughout the race for moving the leaders clear of the pack. He said the Toyota drivers had discussed helping one another before the event and then raced for the win at the end.

Hocevar finished third after leading 65 of the 125 laps. Hocevar said the No. 77 Spire Chevrolet appeared dominant but lost power late in the race. Layne Riggs placed fourth and Chandler Smith finished fifth for Front Row Motorsports. Riggs recovered from a lap-down position caused by a pit issue and now leads the championship standings by 26 points over Honeycutt.
