Courteney Cox, 62, and Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid, 49, have separated after more than 10 years together, according to a report by the Daily Mail. The pair first met at a house party hosted by Cox in 2013. McDaid proposed in 2014, but the couple called off the engagement in late 2015 before reconciling in 2016.
Relationship timeline Cox was previously married to David Arquette from 1999 to 2013. The former couple share a daughter, Coco, who is 22. Friends of the pair told the Daily Mail that the recent breakup was not contentious and that Cox and McDaid remain on good terms.
"Johnny speaks incredibly highly of Courteney. They had a very deep relationship and they remain extremely amicable. They are great friends and care about each other very much," one friend said. The Daily Mail reported that the two were living different lives at the time of the split.
