Nigerian businessman Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chiefpriest, said on June 24 he is willing to undergo a DNA test live on television to address a paternity dispute with Kenyan woman Hellen Ati. Okechukwu posted the statement in the comment section of a media outlet's Instagram page after a video of Ati resurfaced on a national television program.
In the clip, Ati said she had been raising a boy she alleges is Chiefpriest's son alone and had exhausted her resources on the child's medical treatment.
"Make Una help me bring her & the child for una studio make I come there come do the DNA For una on live tv for free," Okechukwu wrote. He stated he would not finance Ati's travel or provide financial assistance for the test. Okechukwu said he would only participate if the child is brought forward and dismissed some online criticism urging him to settle the matter.
