Diamond Industry Group Presents Ring to U.S. Ambassador for Delivery to President
A Belgian diamond trade group delivered a ring containing 321 diamonds and other gemstones to the U.S. ambassador to Belgium for presentation to the president. The gift follows the removal of U.S. tariffs on polished diamond imports from Antwerp.

A Belgian diamond industry group presented a gold ring set with 321 diamonds, 56 sapphires, 13 emeralds and six rubies to the U.S. ambassador to Belgium this week for delivery to the president. In September the Antwerp World Diamond Center announced it had secured a zero percent import tariff on more than $2 billion in annual diamond exports to the U.S. A spokesperson for the group said the organization provided input to the European Commission during 2025 tariff negotiations but did not lobby the U.S. administration directly.
Two independent jewelers estimated the ring's value between $25,000 and $35,000. The group did not release its own valuation. A White House official said Thursday the ring has not yet been presented to the president. The ambassador posted on social media that the ring will be displayed in the Oval Office after delivery.
The gift is one of several high-value items disclosed in the president's 2025 financial filing, which also listed a $250,000 sculpture and sports tickets valued at $15,000.
