DNC Chair Pressured to Release 2024 Election Autopsy Report

Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin addressed questions about the unreleased 2024 election autopsy report in an interview on Pod Save America hosted by Jon Favreau. The report, a 200-page analysis based on over 300 interviews, examines factors contributing to Democratic losses in the 2024 presidential election.

Martin ordered the review shortly after becoming DNC chair in February 2025 but later decided against its public release.

In the 2024 election, Republicans gained control of the House of Representatives, Senate, and White House, including winning the popular vote. Democrats have since sought to identify mistakes to avoid in future campaigns. Martin previously stated that the party completed a comprehensive review and is implementing changes, noting wins in some areas that had not supported Democrats in decades.
