Dodgers, Braves, and Phillies Each Send Five Players to 2026 All-Star Game
Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy and Andy Pages were named National League starters for the July 14 game in Philadelphia. The Dodgers, Braves and Phillies each will send five players to the Midsummer Classic.

Shohei Ohtani will start at designated hitter for the National League in the 2026 All-Star Game. Freddie Freeman was selected at first base, Max Muncy at third base and Andy Pages in the outfield. The selections give the Dodgers four starters in the National League lineup.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto was added to the pitching staff, bringing the club's total to five players. Freeman earned his 10th career All-Star selection and eighth consecutive nod since 2018. Muncy received his third selection and first since 2021.
Pages earned his first career selection. The Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies each will send five players to the game at Citizens Bank Park on July 14. The Braves roster includes Drake Baldwin, Ozzie Albies, Matt Olson, Chris Sale and Raisel Iglesias.
The Phillies roster includes Brandon Marsh, Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Cristopher Sanchez and Jhoan Duran. Starters were chosen through fan voting. Reserves were selected by a combination of MLB officials and ballots from players, managers and coaches.
Ohtani was also named to the roster as a pitcher but is unlikely to pitch after his schedule was adjusted. Justin Wrobleski was not included on the initial National League roster despite a 10-2 record and 2.80 ERA. Mookie Betts finished second to CJ Abrams in fan voting at shortstop.
Teoscar Hernández and Will Smith also missed the roster.
