Elon Musk will participate in a virtual fireside chat with ASML chief executive Christophe Fouquet at the company's annual technology conference next Thursday. The session will cover AI, robotics, space, and semiconductor manufacturing, including the Terafab concept, according to an internal employee portal description.

The virtual event is closed to the public and is intended for ASML employees and partners.

The Terafab is a joint venture involving SpaceX, Tesla, and Intel to build large semiconductor factories. SpaceX plans to use chips from the project to support up to one million orbital data centers. ASML is the sole producer of extreme ultraviolet lithography machines required for advanced chip production.

The company has previously discussed supply constraints that could arise if SpaceX scales its AI compute targets to a terawatt per year. "He had spoken to Musk about the Terafab project, without providing details," ASML CEO Christophe Fouquet said in May 2026. 75 billion.

ASML and SpaceX did not respond to requests for comment.
