England Advances Past Norway in Geopolitics World Cup Quarterfinal

England defeated Norway in a quarterfinal match of the Geopolitics World Cup on Sunday in Miami. The match included a goal by Jude Bellingham that Norway disputed after video showed the ball may have struck an overhead cable. Fifa stated there was no evidence the ball touched the wire. Norway coach Ståle Solbakken said the team would not replay the match.

Tuchel said after the match that he was not happy with the performance and that England made the game difficult for themselves. Jude Bellingham responded that Tuchel may not know what it is like to play in those conditions.

Senegal dismissed head coach Pape Thiaw and the coaching staff after the team's last-32 exit. Argentine midfielder Antonio Rattín died at age 89. Rattín played in the 1962 and 1966 World Cups and spent his club career with Boca Juniors.
