England to Play Mexico at Estadio Azteca Starting at 1 a.m. UK Time

England will play Mexico at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City at 1 a.m. UK time on Monday. The fixture is the first time England has appeared at the stadium since its 1986 World Cup match against Argentina.

The game could be delayed or rescheduled if thunderstorms develop. It is expected to end at 3 a.m. UK time, or 4 a.m. if extra time and penalties are required. The UK Government confirmed that pubs can remain open until 5 a.m.

He advised drivers who stay up for the game to be fully rested and hydrated, noting that those who drink alcohol should wait until it has left their system before driving. Dennis added that an impending heatwave would worsen tiredness and slow recovery. Data from the AA indicates that a person awake for 24 hours can show impairment equivalent to a blood alcohol level of 0.1 per cent.

Tim Rankin, managing director of AA Accident Assist, said supporters who remain awake until 3 a.m. or 4 a.m. must consider how to travel safely on Monday morning. AA Accident Assist recommends that motorists stop at the first sign of tiredness, park safely and consume two cups of coffee or another caffeinated drink.
