England lost the opening match at Edgbaston but won the second match in Cardiff, where Joe Root scored 99 not out. England have not won an ODI series against India since 2018.
The home side replaced Saqib Mahmood with Josh Tongue. India made three changes, bringing in KL Rahul, Prince Yadav and Arshdeep Singh in place of Jasprit Bumrah, Washington Sundar and Shivam Dube.
