Epic Games plans to let developers make games that can use a player’s Fortnite skins under Unreal Engine 6 and allow developers to build skins of their own that work with Fortnite. ” Epic targets an early access release for Unreal Engine 6 for the end of 2027, with the full release scheduled 12 to 18 months after that date.
