Erling Haaland accepted a dinner invitation from actor Tom Holland in an Instagram comment, nypost.com reported. The post came after Holland described an unanswered direct message during a Monday appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Holland, 29, told host Jimmy Fallon that Haaland had no idea who he was and viewed the message as coming from a random person.
He said the experience provided a useful humbling moment for actors. Holland added that he sent the message after seeing Haaland, 25, seated in a suite across from him at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix last month. Haaland wrote in the comment section of the show's clip: "Dinner invitation accepted @tomholland2013.
Holland described Haaland as incredible and an absolute legend during the segment. Norway was eliminated from the 2026 World Cup after a loss to England last week. Haaland returned to Norway with a taxidermied raccoon after the match.
He maintains a collection of Birkin bags and a signature Viking Flow haircut.
