Kallas cautioned participants against focusing on personalities instead of overall strategy. She described the current state of negotiations as having produced limited results.
Magyar posted on Facebook that negotiators had reached agreement on several important questions despite remaining unresolved issues. He recorded a video from a Brussels meeting room where final details were being addressed. Magyar stated that teams from both sides had held multiple meetings to advance the talks.
He said the outcome would become clearer within another day. "I will obviously not anticipate or prejudge what will be the outcome of that meeting, but a series of meetings has been taking place, as you know, between the teams on both sides to make as much progress as possible.
