An ex-wife of actor Colin Firth posted an Instagram video stating she had canceled an upcoming visit by Gwyneth Paltrow to a sustainable farm on the Tuscan-Umbrian border. The video said the cancellation followed Paltrow's appearance in an advertisement for 51 Park, a 51-storey luxury housing development in Herzliya, a city north of Tel Aviv.

Background on the advertisement In the advertisement, Paltrow is shown waking in a New York apartment, running in Central Park, and taking a taxi. She tells the driver the destination is 51 Park in Herzliya, Israel, and notes that the world's most iconic buildings are located by a park.
The same video described the advertisement as unacceptable for someone of privilege and asked whether Paltrow was detached from reality, a nasty person, or stupid. The farm visit had been scheduled for a soil-to-fork experience within the next couple of weeks.
The farm is co-founded and operated by the person who posted the video along with two brothers. The Independent has contacted representatives for Paltrow for comment. Some social media users have also criticized the advertisement for promoting high-end property while conflict continues in the region.
